We walked in into this cozy and welcoming café-bar from the rain and ordered a London fog, no sugar, that was not on the menu and the bar tender made it for us. They have a great selection of beers on tap and they play memorable popular music. Our bartender was made un feel welcomed. We clearly left too early. We would have liked to stay for the rest of the evening to try their nachos and perhaps dance a bit.
Randomly stumbled upon this place while walking. The wine selection was alright, nothing to rave about. Seems like they have a new menu, I think the chef did a nice job. We tried the escargots - they were not stingy with number of escargots which was nice. I also enjoyed the steak tartare. Steak was cooked medium rare as requested. And the seafood stew was nice for a cold day. We were not able to have dessert as the kitchen closed fairly early, we saw the chef run off. Not sure if it was a one time thing. Server was pleasant as well. Overall a nice (short) evening with nice food, but nothing particularly memorable. If I were to return it would be for the appetisers with some drinks but maybe not the main courses.

Great atmosphere and food. Was extremely busy when I went, but still managed to get seating.
Wouldn’t recommend the service. Waited for 1 hour for bitterballen and they just gave it to someone else, not nice service

Saturday night, just after midnight and the doorman made an excuse that it's almost 1am and closing. The place closes at 3am. A couple of minutes later he let in two groups. Stuck up or something else.....
Classic bar in a good part of the city center. Good choice and quality of food in the afternoon and evening. In the late evening it can get crowded, but always with a 'relaxed' crowd. Good choice to hang out with friends for a drink.
